The film features an all north-eastern cast and is much like the older versions of the brand’s ads.
Surf Excel has released a new ad featuring an all northeastern cast. The ad showcases a child dirtying her clothes in an attempt to help her grandmother.
The film opens with the mother laying out clothes for drying and the child is shown busy painting. The grandmother comes in and expresses concern over a food item related work, a lot of what looks like grinding it.
The child ties up the food item in her white shirt, and does the work by hitting it across a tree and helps her grandmother out. This however results in a huge yellow stain on the white shirt and the obvious concern of ‘Yeh daag jaayega kaise arises’.
The mother comes in here and points out that Surf Excel is there to get the stain out. The campaign has been conceptualised by Lowe Lintas and produced by Equinox Films.
